Every G. Clarelli student instrument outfit includes the instrument, bow, and case, set up by our in-house luthier before it leaves our shop. G. Clarelli is our own student instrument label, chosen and professionally set up to give beginning and school orchestra musicians a high-quality instrument to learn on.

A well-set-up instrument is the difference between a student who sticks with it and one who gives up. We set up each G. Clarelli instrument to the highest standards: a well-fitted French bridge, correctly fitted spruce soundpost, quality strings from Thomastik and D’Addario, and ebony pegs that turn smoothly. Our goal is to help make lifelong musicians by giving students the tools they need from the very start.

We carry violin, viola, cello, and double bass outfits in every size, and we size students for free — no appointment needed.
