The 13-inch viola is the same body length as a 3/4 size violin, but has deeper ribs which help the C string have a more resonant tone. 13 inch violas typically fit students ages 9 - 11. Our staff will size your student based on arm length, hand span, and finger length.
Includes viola, bow, case, and rosin. All of our violas are set up by our luthier and strung with D’Addario Helicore or Thomastik Alphayue strings. Stop by any time during our regular business hours for a free sizing.
